Biography
Georgie Márquez is Principal Owner at Andre + Marquez Architects, Inc. a SWaM and DBE certified Architecture and Interior Design firm in Norfolk, VA. The firm was started by her and her husband, Joel André, in June of 1993.
Ms. Márquez obtained her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to practice Architecture. She is certified as a CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) Professional and has completed the Safety Assessment Program Evaluator Training to assist local governments in safety evaluations of their built environment in the aftermath of a disaster.
Ms. Márquez was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and can provide professional assessments in both English and Spanish.
Notes
As licensed architects, we can provide assessments and recommendations that also include ADA and code compliance. Our deliverables will include schematic design floor plans and finish schedules.
