Biography
Over the past 22 years, I’ve had the joy of assisting clients complete construction projects throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia, primarily focused in K-12 Sustainable School Design. I have completed projects in K-12 Education, Public Safety, Higher Education, Judicial, Commercial Office, HealthCare, Residential, Banking and Retail.
I am an Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP) leading K-12 master planning for our clients as they plan their educational programs for the future of education. As a CPTED Professional (CPD), I have advised on embedded safety and security measures in facilities and providing recommendations and testimony throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, including documentation to the Pennsylvania Auditor General for the Act 44 School Safety legislation enacted in 2018.
I currently serve as Chair for the Pennsylvania American Institute of Architects Education Subcommittee. Most recently, I was recognized for being ranked 8th internationally in the number of completed green schools by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Center for Green Schools and was recognized as a LEED Fellow by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2020.
