Biography
With a life-long passion for helping people, I have 20+ years Law Enforcement experience, employed at the nation’s 3rd largest Sheriff’s Office. During my career, I have established a reputation for working well with the community and a quality work product.
Career highlights include an on-call assignment as an FBI trained Hostage/Crisis Negotiator which has allowed me to collaborate with SWAT during suspect barricades and represent the office in state competitions. I have also held a Detective assignment as a Pre-Employment Background Investigations and am exceptionally trained in Homeland Security as a Threat/Terrorism Liaison Officer with the Arizona Counter-Terrorism Information Center.
I am a proud alumnus of Arizona State University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from ASU’s College of Public Programs. As a lifelong learner, I am a graduate of the nation’s highest-level training in Threat Assessment and Management at the Gavin de Becker & Associates California Academy. I also earned a professional designation in Advanced Security Assessment through the National Institute of Crime Prevention.
